Thursday Night Update
Good evening everyone, this is a quick update regarding this weekends snow chances. I have examined this afternoons data, and the potential is still there for accumulating snowfall this weekend. At this time, the best chance for significant snow appears to be across the northern half of Kentucky. However, accumulations are still possible across much of the state as rain changes over to snow Sunday night. Without further ado, here's the latest analysis:
The GFS computer model continues to have a colder look to it as it is suggesting the storm to track mote to our south. This would be the best potential for accumulating snowfall to our area.
On the flipside, the Canadian model is showing a warmer solution, bringing the rain/snow line right through central Kentucky. This scenario would bring little to no snow accumulations to the area.
In conclusion, we are still three days away, and while all the data is showing a storm in our area, I don't know what the future track will be. Stay tuned for all the latest updates!
