Friday Morning Update
Good morning everyone. Showers will continue to move through Central Kentucky during the first half of our Friday but will move out of the area by early afternoon. Skies will become mostly Sunny by mid-afternoon with highs reaching the lower 70's. On Saturday, a very slight chance for a shower/storm exists during the day, but the main show arrives late Saturday night and will last into the day on Sunday, with heavy rain and strong thunderstorms likely. Another strong storm system will impact the region next Tuesday into Wednesday. Heavy rain and strong storms look likely with this system as well. The WPC is forecasting around 2 inches of rain over the next seven days for Central Kentucky, with the potential for higher amounts to our west:
