Tuesday Morning Update

Good Tuesday morning everyone! Today and tomorrow will be quiet in the weather department, mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the lower 70s will take center stage!

This looks to be the most active period of the week as a strong area of low pressure moves over the midwest. This area of low pressure will increase south winds, which will allow temperatures to rise into the upper 70's on Thursday. Wind also looks to be concerning on Thursday, as wind gusts could be as high as 4045 MPH, which would be wind advisory criteria. As we head into Thursday afternoon, a line of strong/severe storms looks to develop to our west. This line will move east throughout the afternoon hours and will move across central Kentucky during the overnight hours on Thursday. We aren't looking at a significant severe weather threat, but a few isolated storms can't be ruled out.

Another quiet period weather-wise, but cooler air settles in, with highs in the upper 50's to lower 60's.

Saturday Night-Sunday:

Another active period with heavy rain and strong storms possible, the biggest threat would be heavy rain, but we will keep an eye on this over the next several days!

Have a great day everyone!
