Good Wednesday morning everyone and happy May! A few strong to severe storms are possible across northern and western Kentucky today. The best chance for severe storms arrives Thursday afternoon. The SPC has placed northern and western Kentucky in a marginal risk (level 1/5) for severe weather today and a slight risk (level 2/5) for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the best chance for severe weather, and the latest futurecast is showing that potential well.

This isn't going to be a widespread event, but any storm will have the potential to produce damaging winds, heavy rain, and lightning. We will keep you updated with the latest over the next 48 hours. Have a great Wednesday!
