Good Tuesday everyone! The next 48 hours will be relatively calm, with a few isolated showers expected tomorrow afternoon. Rounds of showers and storms will begin to affect the region starting Wednesday night and lasting throughout the day on Thursday. Rounds of strong to severe storms are also possible, with the best chance for severe weather over parts of Western Kentucky. Strong storms are still likely, but the severe threat, at least for now, appears to be limited. Here is the latest risk area from the SPC:


This weekend is looking interesting as well, as more showers and storms look likely with heavy rain being the primary threat. We will be monitoring both systems as we progress through the week, and will be providing additional details as we get closer. Have a great day everyone!
