6/4 Tuesday Weather
Good Tuesday Morning everyone! Our thoughts haven’t changed as we’ll see a chance for severe weather on Wednesday along with several rain chances as we head into the weekend.
Rain showers will be moving through during the morning hours, but as we head into the afternoon hours, our storm chances will increase. The SPC has now placed much of the state in a Slight risk for severe weather. This is a level 2 of 5 and means isolated severe storms are possible. We will monitor this potential closely today and tomorrow.
Several waves of rain will move across the listening area during this period, including remnants from a potential tropical system for the weekend. Rainfall amounts over the next week now appear to be between 3-4 inches. Although we’re not expecting any significant flooding issues, localized flooding is possible. We’ll be monitoring things closely this week, and keep you up to date as needed!
